The piece doesn't even have a part number either. I was just shooting my ptp and this piece flew off, I was on the field so I don't know where it landed.

That would be the fake extractor. I think it's held on by a drop of glue. Mine fell off as well, hasn't affected performance or function at all... I wouldn't worry about it.

argh it bugs me so much! I don't care about scratches on my guns (actually like the naturally worn look), but dents and broken pieces make me crazy. Is there anywhere I would be able to get a replacement extractor?

I tried putting mine back on and all it actually decreased performance... when I tried to put it back, the fake extractor would prevent the slide from returning properly. It bugs me too, but even if it was a clean break, trying to put the piece back on will cause some sort of problem. You could buy a new one from kwa just give them a call (626-581-1777), but in my opinion it'd not be worth the effort and money considering it will most likely not fit and cause problems.

Edit: if it bugs you that much, and you want to get it serviced, you can always send it in to kwa for repair.

Nah, it doesn't bug me that much. Thanks for the help anyway.

I examined mine just not and it's simply a piece of plastic in the exterior of the slice, it doesn't project into the chamber as the real extractor does.

Replacing it shouldn't cause any problems, but note Outlaw's different experience!
