Hi there.

I have my mark.1 1911 for about 2 weeks now.
But suddently, for some reason the gas won't last for one complete mag.
Before that, one gas fill lastet for about 2 and a half mag.
I used some silicon oil with the mag but it made no difference...

I made a little video about this. I hope you can help !

but this one shows the problem real good.

PS: i use green gas only !

Hi Schmitter, welcome to the forums. To me it seems that the problem resides in your gas can itself. I think it may be out of green gas, and you have lost some pressure. Your green gas can may be out, and so that is why you are experiencing this problem. Try buying a fresh can of green gas to see if it yields different results.

Also, try charging your magazines for longer. I like to charge my gbb pistols mags for at least 15 seconds each, 5 second intervals, 3 times with a few seconds rest in between.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

I've only been using an Airsoft GBB for about a week now (no stranger to the real thing) but it sure looks like you're not charging your mag long enough. I stop when I don't hear gas transferring and it's much longer than the videos show. I get 29-30 shots out of a single charge. I've gotten more charging 2 or 3 times.

I also tried a can of duster gas. It was low on gas and it only lasted 5 shots. Funny though the first shot had lots of power and the rest were very weak. I'll need to try a full can of duster gas. Not to say I'll be using Duster gas but do want to know if it works. goes on sale every now and then by me.

15 seconds to charge a magazine seems about right to me.  5 seconds is not enough.

15-25 seconds of charging would be advisable.

I usually just charge it until I don't hear anything.  That's because  the volume for the  magazines are different from each models.
but 5 seconds is definitely not long enough.
