Considering my first game report got decent viewership and response, I figured id do another one.

Unfortunately, this one is not as positive as the last one.

As a follow up to those who read my first game report, after i got home from Fort Ord I cleaned and re lubricated my LM4. The next day I attended a game at ARC Airsoft in Hollister California. I highly recommend this field. but ill put that in a different forum. The cleaning did seem to improve the groupings quite a bit, but it was a bit breezy so it was difficult to tell. Again i was using Bioval .30 gram bbs.

It was a hot day, ambient temperature was about 90 degrees F. This gave me some problems with both my LM4 and my pistol as the mags got over pressurized. The LM4 handled it well, it never failed to cycle but i had problems getting the mags to fill as the mags were constantly hot. This is probably just a experience issue as I am not used to keeping my long arm mags cool.

But now for the real problem. Any hop up i had is now gone. i can't hop my bbs at all. even with .25s. My LM4 has a bad LM4 hop up syndrome. Damn. Time to order a KSC hop up unit and modify to fit.

Crap...that sucks!  My hop up is still holding up well, scared that it'll die one of these days.  Also, I soaked my bucking day one, maybe yours got some lube in it??

Have you taken all precautions, such as cleaning the hop up and inner barrel for dirts etc? Are you still under warranty? What type of range are you getting?
If youre still under warranty, send it in to KWA

Yes, I clean my barrel and gun after every game. It is all very clean.

The bbs are dropping at about 25ft.

My warranty may be void.

I had the same issue. I opened her up, took apart the hop up and took the brass hop up tab/clip out and bent it down. I have my hop up back and it's better then ever. Look around the forums/youtube on how to get into your hop up. I don't expect it to last forever, hopefully a new hop up comes out..but it works very good for now

I also bought extra parts for the hop up in case something major happens.

That's probably what I'm going to do. But I need an AR wrench to do that. Which I don't have.

That's my next purchase.

If you want just bring it by greg. I think you might have a bad hop up now. When you cleaned it did you by any chance push the cleaning rod with cleaning patch past the hop up bucking? If so this might have bent the hop up tab inside the unit.
Plus i have a wrench and heat gun and vise to get the barrel nut off.

Now that I think about it. Yes when I was cleaning the barrel i pushed it through once by accident. i had the hop up off though but that could explain it. Probably does explain it.

Okay, I think that would make my life easier. Ill be in touch then.

I was literally about to post this. Can't wait to see if this works. If it does i will be ever so happy.

I also noticed the NPAS bolt/nozzle. What Intel do we have on those.
