Im currently in the market for a SCAR and wanted to get some opinions. Ive narrowed my decision down to either the VFC or G&G.  Do any of you guys own one? What are your experiences/opinion.  Thanks for the help.

Yes i know this is a kwa forum, and most of us here are die hard kwa fans. Kwa doesn't make a scar currently and those of us that want one have to go else where. I trust kwa and kwa enthusiasts, which is why I ask their opinion. To be totally honest this will be my first non kwa purchase.

I own a G&G SCAR and I actually used it this weekend over my MP7 because it would have shot too hot even with the low power bolt. What were you planning on using the gun for (field or CQB)? That will be the deciding factor, the G&G is built for CQB play (sub 350 FPS), while the VFC is geared for field (~400 FPS).

The G&G's effective range is ~100', with hop-up engaged you can get 150' out of it, but accuracy will be out the window. The VFC I believe comes with a convertible barrel whereas the G&G only comes with a CQB length barrel. On the flip-side I have owned the G&G for over 2 years with no problems whatsoever and it is EXTREMELY accurate with it's limited range. :)
