The LM4 is brand new and there aren't any options right now. But I suggested to EdGI that he should make LM4 barrels and he is going to make them. I don't know when they'll be for sale, but it's in the works.

Also the Asia KSC m4 uses the same hopup design, though I haven't seen any barrels for their guns wither.

KSC M4s use a ball bearing style. I honestly don't know if you can put the KWA style hop up on a KSC cut barrel. They are similarly cut but not the same.

There was a review for a Japan model on Arnies and it had the new hop up, seems that gun also came out in late 2011.

Id still like to find out what works with the guarder hop up unit without any mods..or else why would they sell the steel unit? And the guarder bucking? And the barrel? The bucking uses the ball bearing, BUT when all put together doesnt adjust the hop up? Therefore needing to be modified..

So using the guarder TBB, guarder steel hopup unit, and guarder bucking together doesn't work without modifications?

I have the LM4 PTS (Asia version) which I obtained from WGC.
It came, by default, with the ball bearing hop system (old school KSC).

What perplexes me is that why the old school hop won't work on USA KWA LM4's?

Believe it is 370 mm, and its diameter is *roughly* 6.05mm.

If you ever disassemble your hop up unit again..can you take pics of all the parts and also the inside on the hop up unit where the ball bearing makes contact inside the unit..i would love to see how it is..

I find it amusing that there are consumers who have USA versions of the LM4s that came with the lever design trying to install the old school KSC ball bearing hop up ... meanwhile there's consumers who bought the KSC LM4s with the ball bearing hop up, trying to install the lever style hop up. Grass is greener on the other side?
