I recently purchased a KWA KM4A1 Asia ver. And I had done an extended post about mods and upgrades tat i had done.
By now, im in the final thing.
I get 365 fps with marui stock spring (settled) and 230+ft range.
But my trouble is that i get a Madbull JP carabine lenght Handguard kit, wich is supposed to fit there. And also it can be found on the third compatibility list as compatible and all fits without trouble.

But the thing is that the thread of the upper reciever dont fit. and the difference of the thread sis aproxximatedly 0.5 mm

What to do now?
Try to screw the parts, with the risk of broke something.
Rethread upper reciever?
Rethread barrel nut?

Any help will be aprreciated

PS: sorry for my bad english

You will need to rethread the upper receiver when installing a JP front conversion kit. Seems that JP model from Madbull is one of their older design and the pitch of the treads are different. This is not the same case with some of their relatively newer models like the Daniel defense and etc.
Google DRM tool and you should be able to find a rethreading tool for around $20-35 US.

And what about rethread the the barrel nut to kwa reciever size and keep the upper reciever as original?
I prefer to keep the main parts as standard as they could be.

Will be very expensive to go to a mill (turner/metalworker?)?

Thank you very much niko.

I believe the tool needed to thread the nut is more expensive and far less easy to find on the consumer market.
