Hey everyone, I was wondering if the green o-ring located on the outer barrel of the KWA HK45 affects performance. I did a little research and found that it functional piece in the real firearm. Will it effect performance or is it just added for cosmetic reasons?

This oring was just a nice touch to replicate the real one..mine came off and been shooting it ever since..with no problems. So don't worry if you loose it or it tears in half.

My barrel O-ring came off as well but the gun shoots just fine.  BTW, real steel O-rings are a tad too large so they are not a replacement.  I bought one when I ordered by holster. Not a big deal running without the ring.

Ditto all of the above, o-ring lost, gun fires fine.
