Hows everyone doing. Ive been a long time lurker here and finally decided i should join after having my lm4 for a while. Its a great gun by the way. Ive made two threads on other forums titled "Welcome to the Dark Side...", so if you see them, well thats me!

So my question for everyone is this:

Is the dust cover proprietary or is it compatible with real steel, or the other m4 gbbr platforms?

I havent seen any one comment in regards to this part so i though i would ask. I kind of want to get one of those dust covers with sayings or logos on it. I always thought they were neat!

Good question... Id like to know the answer as well. Id assume it is compatible though.
Ugh, another thing to spend money on to make my LM4 more beautiful

Me too. I found a real steel engraved dust cover that looks pretty awesome. Would like to know if it will work or not.

Well I got my dust cover in the other day..tried it out..looks great while its open but it doesn't close..the LM4 dust cover dimensions are a little bit wider then a rs dust cover. It doesn't close and has gap on top..so yea..not compatible unless its for looks only..like mine is :)Posted Image

Off topic, but boobie, I'm wondering if you have any upper receiver rail wobble of any sort. If so, how did you get around to fixing it? I see you have an optic mounted on it.

I noticed that on the AEG's that the upper rails become loose and wobble over time from running heavy optics and sometimes banging on it while playing.  I am not sure if it's the case here though.

The SR10 I have does the same with the top rail.......... The real firearms they're designed to look like are not made the way KWA does. It should be one piece with the upper receiver.
