Whats Different between M9 and M9 tac? Just the flat trigger guard with no grooves and small finger indention for tac light fitting flush.  More aggressive grooves around front and back strap and of course the rail but on real M9A1 they have a distinct cut-out around the upper back strap of grip and some say that it also has bigger trigger guard to help shooters that wear gloves. Are these differences incorporated in the m9 tac since the RS M9 has flat dust cover which is correct but half moon rear sights unlike M9 ptp. I had a M9 tac. And never noticed to look. Thanks for replys.

Hey Paul,
You're observations concerning the flat trigger guard with no grooves and small finger indent for tac light fitting flush are correct. And there are more aggressive checkering on the front and back straps of the M9 Tac, as opposed to the M9, in which it has vertical straps, not checkered. Other things to note, the M9's screws that keep the grip in place need a flat head screw driver to turn, meanwhile the M9 Tac has allen screws that keep the grips in place. While the reported weight on the KWA website says the two guns weigh the same, that is false. The M9 Tac is noticeably heavier than the M9 because of its rail. If you notice, on the M9 tac, behind the rail there is a groove there as well. M9 doesn't have that. I think these are all the differences between the two.
