Had a KWA m9 tac. Ptp it had great kick-recoil and sold it due to not knowing about G-code holsters (Check them out) and picked up a ksc M17 new version. Now I'm wanting another new KWA pistol with more kick but have heard that for instance the MK-1 and 3 1911 series have more snappy kick compared to MK-2 and 4 1911 since they have more mass up front having rails which owners say make it have a weaker kick. So in theory would the M9 ptp have more kick than the M9 tactical ptp because it doesn't have a rail or vice versa?  Also if I put a recoil spring from an ATP into my ksc M17 would that help with getting more felt kick-recoil? Thanks for your answers.

If you want more recoil in your KSC you can parts to make the recoil slightly larger. Ive fired both M9s and think they're about the same.

Because I deleted the ones that didn't work lol. Anyways, back to topic, that recoil kit that has the new valve and spring and all seems like it might make a decent difference. But its probably much less gas efficient.
