Heya guys,
Got kinda tired of the old black receiver on the LM4 so after much debate, I decided to bust out the rattle cans and throw down some paint. I'm pretty happy with how it's come so far but there's some small spots i'm going to hit a over again. The brown I bought wasn't the camo branding and wasn't adhering to the base coat quite as well. Therefore, I might be making a trip to Walmart tomorrow ;-). I'm really looking forward to seeing how it looks after the first few uses and the paint starts to thin, I love that look.

Pretty good,
I suspect it will wear out quick though. High wear part should never be painted for this reason

Hey Kull,
Thanks bro, but as previously stated. Appreciate the comments.

I actually have a love for painted guns, especially the "Afghan and back" look, but I could never bring myself to painting any of my guns haha. Though yeah, keep us updated with the finish and how it looks after some game time.

Updated.

I'm pretty satisfied with the results. Only complaint as stated previously is some more brown so I may take a trip to home depot today to try and add a few spots.

Just curious, what rail system is that and how did you make that dot effect with the rattlecans, I've seen it around before but have no idea how it's made.

Netted bag from dive section of local walmart. Best $4 spent ;-). I went to Home Depot today and picked up a medium shade of brown and tan. Turned out pretty good. Will post pictures tomorrow. Debating if I want to do my Systema in the same pattern or try something different. I was thinking about a different, darker tan for base but we'll see.

Did the Knights RAS go right on?  Any mods or troubles getting it on?  I have access to one and might just go for it!

Yep right on. The delta ring was a bit snug the first few times on the LM4 but now it's really easy to pull on. My PTW is another story haha.

Picked up some more furniture yesterday for the LM4 and I must say I'm pleased with how its coming along. Plan on upgrading the light inside the Bravo PEQ-15 so it actually usable, and the replica EOtech turned out quite well also. Also picked up a KJW 226 which i've been eyeballing for a while..
