Sorry for the NOOB questions

1) When you remove the mag, is it normal for 2-4 bbs to be sitting on top?  It happens no matter how quickly or slowly i remove the mag. It happens with the KWA hicap that came with the gun and an extra one I bought (also kwa hicap)

2) How do you know you have wound the mag enough? I have been winding it till the bbs appear at the top and give it a few extra. Shoud I be winding it for alot longer initially to avoid having to wind as often between bursts?

It's perfectly normal for that many BBs or around that to roll out with most of the AEGs.
No worries there.

When I win my mag sometimes I get little clicks and other times I don't really get those clicks. Dunno why.
Think of it this way, once you feel the resistance stabalize while spinng the dial and you can't feel any more resisitance then what you already do then it's up all the way. You can't break it don't worry. I spin the bottom off habbit all the time.

I wind it whenever get a chacne after firing. Never hurts to wind. WInd it all th way and measure how many burst you can get out of it. Count the bursts.

To know that you've wound the mag enough, you'll hear a distinctive *click* when you continue to wind, it takes a minute or two to get to this point though...

Does it hurt to let the magazine set for an extended period of time with the spring wound?

First off, welcome to the forum, my names Kevin, and its good to meet you. dont ever be embarrassed to ask a question because everyone has to start somewhere? you will never be judged because everyone here is pretty nice, accept for outlaw1995 who happens to be a huge jerk, and has nothing good to say ever.

as for your questions, the bb;s falling completely normal, and you should wind your mag untill it makes a change in clicking sound

Let's stay on topic shall we? :P

Answering your question wrxified, it's okay to leave the mags wound up for hours, but I wouldn't let them stay that way overnight, and especially not for long periods of time.
