Well that is the question. I'm sure its possible with modding, but I am hopeful for just a drop in option.

Please work on your grammar and punctuation.  It was a bit difficult to read.

The thing discussed is called an RA-Tech NPAS.  It's something that goes inside the piston and changes the flow of the gas to give it more power.  If you look at the two videos I posted on the previous page, you will understand what it is.

WGC shop has the whole piston in stock.  I recommend learning more about what it is before purchasing one though.  And it's not a 100% guarantee that it will fit.

I don't see it on Redwolf.  But Ehobby is out of stock.  WGC is the only place I can find it in stock right now.

Hey Boobie,

Could you upload a picture of the modified NPAS valve if it's not too much trouble. I'm planning on doing a couple of your mods on my LM4 and would just like a picture as reference so I don't screw it up too badly.

This isn't the best picture..but this is what it looks like. I cut grooves in the tip to give it "fins" like the rocket valve. They're not deep so don't do it too much or you'll ruin the npas.

I have an extra rocket valve for my M11A1, I think all NS2 guns use the same rocket valve. I'm going to install it tomorrow when I have time. I don't have a chrono though, so I won't know if it makes an improvement.

per Boobie's video. I modified my rocket valve on 2 guns. The first one i was pretty careful about not grinding off too much. and had great results. averaging about 430-440 with .25  The second gun i went a little more and got 430's with .30's. So this mod deffinately works. I have a 3rd LM4 that im gonna get a little more funky with and see what i can do.

Boobie - great job figuring this out!

Hey guys,

I've been reading around quite a bit since yesterday (almost all topics of interests :P) since I just bought the Magpul Edition LM4 from a guy. I still have to receive it.

I seen your posts and videos Boobie (damn, you're good at what you do :P) and was wondering:

I've seen somewhere (maybe even this thread, not sure) that the rocket valve is the same as the M9's, so this would lead me to think it's pretty much standard in all NS2/Sys7 systems.

Anyone tried the RA Tech NPAS for KSC Mp7?? I would be tempted to think it would be a drop-in solution. Can anyone whit some relevant information chime in on this?

Thanks

MP

I was thinking the same thing..its cheaper..and yes the valves do look the same..it might be worth a try..I've done a lot with my LM4..I've got it shooting a fairly consistant 400-420. I'm happy with that..in theory the ksc npas for mp7 should work? Maybe you should try it..hint hint :)

Odds are that I will most likely try it yes

I'll have to familiarise myself with the GBBR world first though (it shouldn't be too much different than an AEG for the externals crossed with an GBB pistol I guess)

I think i saw the valve available at like 15$ somewhere. Will have tonfind it again...

I'll report here once it's done.
