hey guys maybe this will be useful for others.....

do you guys still do tech work on KWA gearboxes?

if so and i sent you the box is it just a standard set up or do you guys need the grip & motor so that you can give it a real custom shim job?

verses just a factory range?

do you guys do the #14 piston rubber?

130 spring ?

blah blah....  home much does it cost?

no matter how many times ive done this you PRO's should still be better at it.  :-)

They do not answer email on weekends. After the 3 day weekend it may take them a few days to catch up...

We do out of warranty work on the gearbox, but it is easier for us to have the complete gun so we can dial it in properly in the way it will be used. If we only have the box, we would have to throw it in to one of our guns to test it, then take it out again before shipping. It's always better for us to test it all with what you would be using...but we can do it.

Service Center fees are $35 for labor, $15 for return shipping, plus any parts that are needed to do the repair. You receive a 20% discount on any parts purchased for a repair while the product is in our Service Center. We will install up to an M130 spring and we only use stock KWA parts.

You can get an RMA number to send it in by visiting our Help Desk at the link above.

KS,

THANK YOU!  thats exactly what i was wanting to know.

thats very reasonable on the service fee!

IF one of my M16's die i'll just send it to you next time instead of redoing it.....  heh heh but of course that means im gonna compare your all's shim job to mine when it comes back and then post a review of the work.    :-)

thanks as always,

sdk
