I saw a video on redwolfairsoft's channel where a WE M17 was used to cook with(breaking walnuts, tenderizing meat) and I begun to think. What would cause a GBB(atp for me) to fail first? We all drop our gun once in a while(it is inevitable), and I would like to know what breaks first? Cylinder? Polymer frame of ATP? Guide rails on the frame? Hop up/barrel assembly?(I also noticed the inner barrel/hop up assembly on my ATP is made with a cheapish plastic that I do not feel to comfortable with)

The polymer frame is quite durable on this gun :P I think hammer assembly and bucking. That's what broke first for me.

Probably the outer barrel.

Agreed with aaps. Unless you are running propane with A LOT of silicon oil added (it would be the cause of a swelled hop up bucking), the first thing I'd expect to break on the ATP is the outer barrel.

The outer barrel breaking on ATP from the first batch has been experienced by me as well.  But after the new barrel install I have had no issues what so ever.  This gun is durable and I have dropped this several times on concrete with no problems. Very durable light weight gun IMO.
