So my 226 has been giving me all of the common issues that most 226 owners have been experiencing. Not cycling fully, not shooting enough gas, etc. So I took the gun apart and tried to see if anything was wrong that I could see and couldn't see anything but some common looking wear. Anyways so I put my gun back together and now it fires every time, the only downside is if I squeeze the trigger and hold it down, it suddenly goes full auto (which is kind of cool haha) any ideas on what's going on?

Update: I think I know whats causing it to go fully auto, it seems that my hammer only locks back if the firing pin is in the locked back position. If the put isn't locked back then the hammer pops back forward which is probably what's causing this. So now the question is, any ideas as to why my hammer won't lock without the pin locked to the rear?

So if you squeeze the trigger, and then release it as soon as the gun fires, it shoots only once correct?  Does the slide still lock back when you are out of BBs?

The issue with the hammer was just due to a spring being re-installed wrong *face palm*

Every single other issue was fixed by replacing the breach, which as it turns out was a little more worn down then I had thought. The gun operates flawlessly now.
