So I opened up my kmp9 to discover another munched return spring, despite the precautions I took. Oh well. So I decided that now was the time to install the spare cylinder I bought last year and I noticed that it has a tighter fit over the main seal than the old cylinder. I saw airsoftoutletne was saying that the new main seal is orange and is compatible only with the new version cylinders. I was wondering if there is any truth to this, or can I just slap the new cylinder over the green main seal and call it a day?

I think I remember hearing the same thing because the thickness of the cylinder has been more reinforced.  So if you have an older version (not sure when the change was made) the cylinder may not operate smoothly.  You can either call the KWA tech dept or wait for gcw to answer your question.  I think I remember him mentioning something about this.

The cylinders and main seal were changed. The most up to date seals are orange. Just give us a call to purchase one.
