I was pondering about how to make it happen with the standard LM4 for quite some time and figured there's no way unless I got a new outer barrel (the pictured rifle is 16 inches) and nobody knows if there will be any that are compatible with the LM4.
Anyways I got the idea just now of getting an LM4C along with a 5 inch or so barrel extension (not a suppressor) in conjunction with the URX II rail. I could remove the front sight post, and get a low profile gas block. The gas block would sit (I think) right over the joint of the extension (example: http://www.knightarm...r15_last_01.jpg) with a medium length gas tube and if I needed to I could probably dremel small grooves in the barrel for it to grab on to. The original barrel notches would be hidden in the RAS system.
I would get an extended inner barrel for it, and even if the inner barrels for the Asia don't fit I could survive with it until someone manufactured one that does fit.
Is this a plausible idea? Or am I missing something? I'm not very experienced in dealing with front ends so I don't really know.
Comments? Thoughts? Suggestions? Anything would be nice.
