Hello I just received a BNIB M17 pistol and noticed on the back of the slide where it meets the frame both sides are chipped and there is wear on the ejection port where barrel meets slide paint is missing in spots.  Will post pictures but has anyone else notice this on theirs and
is it normal for a new pistol? More worried
about pistol function than looks but if it's
defective in workmanship I'll swap it.

I have more pics but not enough space from site. anyways if you notice the rear of slide where it mates up to the lower half there is bare metal like it was molded wrong and been wore down and it has took some very tiny chunks of metal out of the rails on the lower and def looks like it been getting excesive wear than normal.
One last thing the side of the slide where the slide stop makes contact it seems lil worn down on slide. I heard this might cause issues. found out it might have had some shots fired thru *test fire* but this seems like more wear than my MP7's and they have been played with at OP's. What do yall think? Keep or Exchange.

Where did you buy your piece?  The M series has been discontinued for awhile and it would be next to impossible finding them new.
