The mags look normal too me, but that trigger looks a bit strange.

The gun isnt cocked in that picture, so the trigger is locked back. It pops forward when its cocked.

I see, I knew something was off about it.  Didn't know it worked like that.

Pretty sure all AR15's do.

The magazine is basically the same size as a real mag. both in dimensions and also weight. Here are some comparisons. the difference is the notches on the front of the magazine well, which would prevent any non notched, aka real, magazine from being inserted.

Is the receiver exactly real size or did they have to shorten it for ATF approval. In the pics it looks shorter like the WA style rifles not like the Prime and Inokatsu receivers. If you could compare with your real AR upper and let me know I would really appreciate it tremendously. I know you probably wont be able to mount the real upper but just look at it and see if it all lines up and if it is a real length receiver.

Preordered from ASGI. Just confirmed that ASGI is shipping as we speak correct? I see the magazines are out of stock already.

I thought they were going to start shipping them out on Monday. ASGI doesn't usually ship orders on Saturday and Sunday.

Brigg, can you compare to see if it is a real size receiver or shorter?

Right I understand, a misunderstanding. I was just confirming where he had received his through.

Already ordered my accessories as well. Hopefully mags come back in stock Monday as I'm planning on a 6+1 loadout. Keep those pictures coming as well! Good stuff. If you could maybe show the internal parts and how its disassembled. i.e. if the pistol grip and buffer tube are attached like real steel. Thanks sir. Enjoy it!!

Once I receive mine, I'm planning on a full, in-depth tear down guide of the LM4, so there is no need for anyone else to feel the need to do so! ;)

The receiver is made from multiple pieces. a right, left and top section. Though its not easily noticeable. The chances of you fitting a real AR15 upper onto it are basically nill considering that. It is, in all likelihood, exactly the same size and spec as the KSC M4, which of course isn't exactly surprising, consdering. But Im not really crazy about trying to jam a real upper onto it.

I don't want you to mount the real upper. I just want to know if the receiver is exactly real size or shorter. Take your AR15 upper off the lower and you PTR upper off the lower and set them side by side and measure. And do the same for the two lowers. I need to know if everything lines up properly. I suspect that they made the receiver shorter than real size. You will have to look close because the difference if there wont be by much. Thanks for any help.

ok then, yes. they are different sizes. I dont have an accurate measuring device here other then a tailor's tape but they are in fact differently sized, And the rear of the lower seems to be offset slightly. Was anyone really expecting the receivers to be actual AR15 spec?

My question though is why this is important?

For a company project for sale. Thanks for you help. Is it smaller or larger in length. The offset lower tab would not be an issue but the difference in size will be.

Brigg, is there any way you could see if the buffer tube is commercial or mil spec? Also, are the threads on the LM4 buffer tube and a RS buffer tube the same? I'm guessing that the upper receiver threads are the same as the KM4 AEGs. Thanks in advance.

Milspec.  See Evike video below.  1:13 is where it says milspec.

Ok. Would love to put a RS Magpul UBR stock on one. Hopefully Brigg or someone else will disassemble the gun completely and show us that "new" hop-up design. Now we just wait on parts to fit the LM4, like a separate upper receiver, outer barrels, inner barrels, etc.

I believe the hop up design is a rubber bucking without the metal ball inside... but I could be wrong.
