Hello,

I was looking at the Cybergun website and they are selling a Sig Sauer SP2022 GBB airsoft pistol that they claim is manufactured by KWA.  I can't find reference to this pistol anywhere else on the web, or on your site, but I have seen it on a KWA exhibition video on youtube.

Can someone from KWA clarify this for me?

Many thanks,

Jim

Actually, it's not a fake I believe. I've seen some prototype of the SP2022 in a video at KWA's shot show booth in 2011 I believe-- along with the Sphinx 3000 pistol KWA says will eventually come out. I'm guessing it will probably make its official debut sometime next year considering KWA has a lot of other awesome pistols coming out this year.

Keep in mind it's still market by Cyber Gun. Not KWA.

Kind of funny how that works.  A company asking it's competition to manufacture guns for them. LOL

Does Cybergun even make any guns for themselves? I always thought they were just one of those company's that has trades and sells (or whatever the correct term may be) to other company's

You might be correct on that.

Can we get someone from KWA to verify the authenticity of that gun? I'd love to get one from KWA, if possible. Yet, the conversion puts it at over $240. That is a bit steep. Even the USP Match doesn't retail that high. I recently sent in a request for KWA to start production on a SP2022, so that'd be great.

Me too!  This will be my go to sidearm I'm hoping.  Personally, my only concern is holster availability and options.

Do you know where I could get one? Cybergun says they don't sell to individuals, and I'd love to have that gun.

I would look to Hong Kong web stores like: Tokyo Model Co, WGC, Uncompany, EHobby Asia...

A quick check there makes it look like they are all sold out. If I remember correctly, KSC is OEMed by KWA. If that's the case, this would be the same as a KWA SP2022. That is the closest I can find.

Now they just need to get it back in stock. I'll take a $150 tag compared to 188.00 €. The conversion to USD puts it at 233 and some change.
