If you could provide me with a little info please.

ok, I just received my ATP which was supposed to be the newer version with safety and metal spring guide, but isn't. I'm trying to decide if I should return it or keep it. The safety isn't an issue with me, but another member pointed out that I may want to change out the plastic spring guide for a metal one should I decide to keep it.

So to all you earlier version ATP owners, how many have changed the plastic guide to a metal one, and how many just left the plastic one in there? If you left the plastic one in, then how is it holding up? If you changed to metal, do you see any difference other than it should last longer than the plastic one.

Thanks for you input.

If you have the chance to change it to the new one do it, besides the obvious upgrades like the metal parts you just never know what small things KWA engineers corrected.  After that first production run I am sure they analized any problems reported by customers and made changes, ntm the fit and finish changes that always go on in production runs, I cant help but think the further along in production the better the product will be.

Disregard. They only have the older versions so I'm just going to glue the rubber piece in place and try to figure out where I can find a metal spring guide/rod. Still not sure if the one in the pro shop is plastic or metal. Still waiting on green gas delivery so hopefully all will go well when I charge her up and shoot.

Thanks for the help

Done! Thanks so much! Very cool

Out of curiousity, why did you take it out of your other ATP?
