Does anyone think that the AKG-74 will take normal AK74 series exterior upgrades (stocks, GP-30's, inner barrels)?

After taking a closer look at the stock on the 74M, I can see a cut out in the plastics. By the butt end of the gun. Does this mean a compartment inside the stock for storage of materials? That would be sick to keep some q-tips, cleaning clothes and some silicon oil in there.

Edit: Upon further research, I found a website that says the 74m/100 buttstock does indeed contain housing for storage of materials. Taken from:  http://www.avtomats-....com/pro23.html

The plastic folding stock is common to all AK-74M and AK-100 series rifles. It reduces the overall length of the weapon to 700mm, and provides more support to the cheek. It also has internal storage for a cleaning kit and is more comfortable in harsh winter weather where the older metal folding stock would often stick to the skin. a Stock is outfitted with rear facing push button for manual unlocking release.

Also curious if the AKG will have a low powered bolt like the LM4s will have.

Agreed with GCW. I've wanted these GBBRs since 3 years ago. But I'm being a good, patient little boy and waiting for KWA to make this THEE best gbbr ever.

But in trev's defense, KWA's prototypes are pretty amazing already that I'd take them early. ;)

I  geuss i want a near perfect gbbr, but if they wouldnt be ready until april they should have said so last year instead of saying that they would be availible 6 months ago, i will happily wait, but i want to know how long i need to wait

Trev, staying on schedule is beyond KWA's control. If something NEEDS improvement, (like redesigning the AKR mag well so it can accept aftermarket mags, for example) it will need to get done before release. Trying to eliminate the most problems before the product comes out will save any company lots of money instead of recalling it.

It's in KWA's best interests to make sure they perfect or get the AKG as close as perfect to possible before release.

yes i agree, but imagine something really big like, say, COD, they say early november, you go in to the store and they say january, you say fine, you go in january and they say april, again you retun and you are told "we dont really know, sometime eventually maybe, just wait indefinitley until we tell you other wise, then when wait a bit longer"

Off topic but, how cool would itbe if KWA made a iPad app for their site and forum? And also a iPod/ iPhone app as well?

Kwa does indeed have an iOS app for iPod touch/ iPhone/ iPad. It's registered as: ip.Board. You sign into what forum you want to join, put in your user name and password and off you go. I have tried it, and it doesn't work well for me. And I own iPad 2, iPhone 4 and 2nd gen iPod touch.

I find it easier to use the forum on my mobile devices via the regular page.

OK, let's get back on track.  And for the record, April was thrown out as a guess by Outlaw.  He may be right, he may not.  Those of us close to the answer can't say because we don't know.  As more information is available, it will be released.

*note, I titled this loosely related banter so we couldn't get off track :), I am only asking because the information was supposed to be released 4 days ago, according to KWA They said adurong shot show I would get all the info I ever wanted Well, sto show is now over and there is no clear release period

You just need to be patient and stay strong. Know that your beloved AK74 will someday be yours.

Seriously, release dates seem to never go as planned. They always seemed to get pushed back. If they set a date and it gets pushed back, you will be even more unhappy.
