Hi, I am the DaTigah and I am very new to this forum.

I would like to ask a question to any official members of KWA USA about the KWA M4 CQB.

I already know that the KWA M4 CQB's stock Inner Barrel is 273mm and that the gun's Cylinder is already "ported" specifically for that type of length. Which means putting a longer barrel may cause compression loss.

My question is that what is the maximum length (besides 273mm) a tight bore barrel can be installed without sticking out in an annoying and obvious manner (inner barrel sticks out way beyond the flash hider) and at the same time will not cause too much compression loss.

Before you reply, please note that I will not buy a JBU brand barrel as it will not fit inside the outer barrel of the KWA M4 CQB.

Another question is that since I want to install a Tight Bore Barrel of around 6.01 to 6.03 (nothing higher, nothing less), what barrel length is recommended? A 285mm? A 300mm (which is a little too much)? Or a barrel lower than 273mm (which is a little too short)? Also if you know a barrel lower than 273mm please tell me a specific length.

Also tell me a good brand for any tightbore barrel that could fit perfectly with little performance loss on a KWA M4 CQB.

Other than that, please give me any recommendations for an inner barrel for the KWA M4 CQB.

Thank You.

PS> PLEASE STAY ON TOPIC! IT IS BETTER THAT WE TALK ABOUT INNER BARRELS CONSIDERING THE KWA M4 CQB. Nothing Else. If you want to talk about other things such as hop up, please make another post as soon as possible. Sorry about the CAPS, just wanted people to see the note.

The good folks at KWA USA has a "neutral" stance regarding 3rd party brand/accessories.  They can't make recommendations or comments "publicly".   ;)

IMO, the only CQB tight bore that meets your requirement is DBC. Give them a call and ask for the KWA CQB tight bore.  Their web site is HERE

Check out AIRSOFTGI, they have a massive section on percision barrels. they have 6.03 to even 6.01. I intend on getting a DBC 6.01mm Percsion barrel for my M4s.

Oops, forgot to mension, the price is dirt cheap. It runs the till at about $50 for a good 6.01 tight bore.

If your using the stock flash hider, then you have approx 0.5" (12.7mm) before the inner barrel will stick out.  That means the longest inner barrel for the CQB using stock setup is 285mm.

Alright nice dude. Thanks for your suggestion. Would the following link (inner barrel at evike.com) be okay?

http://airsoftpost.c...oducts_id=24383

Also, would this fit in the STOCK KWA M4 CQB Hop Up System?
(Both Chamber, Bucking, Nubs, the whole system and assuming that I will not plan on getting a new hop up.)

By the way, apperntly evike.com's shipping service sucks, I have never personally ordered from them, but Airsoftgi.com has good, fast shipping with amazingly great customer service. If you have a question you can call airsoftgi and they will try their best to answer your question. They have suggested magazines to use with the KWA M4 to me before and they were great.
