I just received my mk23 today and its its awesome. I disassembled it so i could add silicone lube and when I tried putting the slide lock back in after lining the slide up it wouldn't fully push into the gun. I also noticed there is a spring on the slide lock (part 70) and was jut wondering what i was suppose to do with it because there is a + shaped hole in the frame and I was not sure if it went in there.

Congratulations on your new gun.  Yes, part #70 is necessary.  It hold the slide lock down while the gun is firing.
