Missing Spring?

right during a strip and rebuild of my mp9 part 72, weird clamp spring, pinged off somewhere, is this a vital part and renders the mp9 virtually unusable or can it still be used while i wait for a new spring or find the other one? (not holding much hold for the second one)

please help I need her for sunday!!

That's the take down clamp spring.  The gun should fire but if the clamp moves you could have issues.  I would try to play something there to keep the clamp from moving until you get a new spring.

thankfully I found the spring, didnt really fancy paying the shipping of a $2.75 weighing about a gram to the UK, bloody international delivery charges.
