Hey guys, so the local airsoft shop has 50 rd bomber mags for $10. i have used my friends g&p woc with 50 rounders, and i find it to be the perfect capacity for a gbbr. are the lm4 mags going to hold more than 30 rounds, or be real cap? this is a deal breaker for me personally.

From my research, I believe the ATF/US models will hold 41 rounds.

That's one of the reasons why I don't buy gas rifles at the moment. There will always be a need for plenty of magazines, which is quite an investment. I refuse to buy a gas rifle until I know it's worth dropping hundreds on magazines.

I agree. i purchased the bomber mags because i want a gbbr, but could not justify dropping $500 on mags. The wa system that the bomber mags work with has its established flaws, but replacement parts are quite common. after my friend replaced the bolt, bolt release, feeding nozzel and hammer in his G&P woc, it has not hiccuped in a single game.

I scavange used/broken mags for my WE M4 for cheap. Usually repairs are easy as replacing/relubing seals. I find a lot of people are just dumb when it comes to GBB maintenance. I once picked up two M9 PTP mags for $15 total because the original owner said they "leaked". They were only missing the fill-valve o-ring. They held gas just fine.

I agree completely. Got a fully upgraded viper off another player because it "didnt work for $hit", amd it was just dirty.
