@Ando here is a thread talking about this problem. The second post has a pic link that shows what it looks like.

So the answer is yes you do have to take the mag apart to make this shim. But it is really easy. There is only 2 set screws that hold the thing (not sure tech name for) that punctures the powerlet. Then it is easy from there. If u want I can make a short vid on how to make it work.

@Darth, Thanks for the link although I'll have to look at it later since they are doing maintenance. I don't have the mags yet and probably won't till after Christmas but a tutorial on it couldn't hurt for future reference!

I am looking for a RA Tech co2 mag for my ATP and I am finding 2 types: M17,18 or M19 Which one fits the ATP?

Another thing I have noticed with this mag is the valve button sticks out just a hair. And when you insert it into the ATP it releases a little gas. I file it down and it works great now.

You could have just tightened the valve down.......................................

OMG I didn't think of that. Of corse I tightened it. But it still stuck out just a tiny bit. no big problem.
