My son wants to put on a leapers rifle scope on his KWA G36c..

The rear sight is in the way. It looks like an allen on top and a pin through the side.

Is there anything I need to know before removing it?

Should the pin be pushed from a certain side?

Thanks

I also performed this mod awhile ago. Were you removing both front and back sights? The pin is just a roll pin, so it can be pushed through either side. I'd recomend placing the gun on its side on a padded surface like a towel, because you will be performing some hard hits to get the pin out. Also, keep in mind that with the back sight gone there will be a obvious gap on the rail.
