Actually, some of their "Parody" vids are quite funny.  Understand that everyone is trying to do something"different".  Tim at ASGI has his corner of the market, Evike wants theirs, and that's all very fine and good.

Personally, I think Tim's quite a tool, but there is an apparent audience for those kind of videos.

It seems a lot of retailers recently have decided to make worthless uninformational videos in the past few months,  kind of interesting they think sells guns, but I guess it does......

Trev, I didn't ask for how market advertising works. I don't hate on Evike, (I especially liked their EpicMealTime themed Mo' Molle Problems vid) I just wanted to say how it was wrong on their end trying to fake a Vector just to get views/hits/ money from views/ whatever. Obviously during the course of the vid, the gun gets faker and faker and most of the audience (I hope) realized that. To me, a company should not intend to trick the audience just to get views- if it was a parody, they should have called it a parody up front. Oh well, that's just my rant...

I find it odd that they have an upper receiver of the SMG with the select fire switches but the lower receiver of the Carbine. i dont think the KWA kriss will have a 16" barrel and barrel shroud.

The KWA Vector probably won't, and some company will probably make an aftermarket barrel extension and make some bank off of that. They used a civilian 16 inch barrel version of the vector. Evike claims they hand built it, and put the "awesome KWA internals" into it, but I think that's a bunch of lies. Whatever the case may be, KWA will probably have the short barrel—5.5 inches I think right?

Grindstone, that's a pretty bold statement for someone you really don't know. I don't think this was a necessary comment to add to this thread.

You guys are so silly... If they seriously fooled you with this video... That is the real Kriss Super V (http://www.kriss-tdi...bso-45-acp.html) it is the CBR/SO version that is easily available to civilians, and if my eyes don't deceive me, its the California legal version.

I am assuming they released this as a joke, and in my opinion should be taken that way. I thought that it was hysterical, the Ipad adjustment system...  It sounds like a KWA M18c that they used for the firing sounds. Funny video, excellent editing.

P.S.
Some of you guys really need to calm down.

I'm calm about it, but in the beginning Evike made it seem like they actually had the prototype. By the time we saw the iPad connector, we all knew it was fake. Advertising something false/ false advertising to trick people into watching the video just to get view (just to get money) is a low choice on Evike's part. I'm just saying.

In fairness Evike did when back to add proper description that it's a Parody.

I'm going to close this topic as it doesn't serve any purpose but a flame baits.
