I have been putting up with this issue for a while now..... after i let go of my mag when pushing it up and into the mag

well, it moves down just the slightest but, just enough for the Slide Release not to engage while a mag is empty. If i push the

mag upwards, the Slide release will engage strong.. if I let it go freely, the Slide Release will either not engage or engage just

enough that the Slide will be caught on the smallest part of the Slide Release so a simple tap will release the slide. This isn't

that big of a problem, but it's something I want fixed really badly.

I have reason to believe it is the mag catch that is wearing out and it won't completely clip to the mag once put in, so

I am thinking about getting a new metal mag catch. I just wanted to be certain from KWA that this was indeed the issue.

Also, Props to me for clear and nice formatting =P

Hope you guys at KWA can help me out here =), I love my Glock so much =D.

I agree with you. Sounds like a worn out mag catch that needs to be replaced.

Wear out fast?  Your gun must be 2 years old, or more, since it is long out of production.  Not busting on you but my 3 year old M19 has thousands of rounds through it without a slide catch problem.

All standard mag catches I've seen have the wear issue, but all extended mag catches don't which is weird.

Then again I replaced all my catches with real steel ones (only around $10) and those work perfectly.

They are only about $10 from any online retailers in the US.
