Dumb question - the spring and spring guide come together?
Thanks
Eric

Sorry if this is unnecessary but the "guarder" KSC Glock 17 recoil spring is in stock on Evike.com. As well as the TM Guarder recoil spring.

I say "Guarder" for the KSC because evike likes to categorize many items under brands that they are not.

Yes, they come together.  However, an enhanced spring may not allow the slide to cycle all the way to the locked when empty position.  If you get an enhanced spring guide I would recommend the Guarder or an Element.  The TM is not quite to spec.  Also, if you do get the spring guide, consider one of two options
  • Put in a high flow valve (in the magazine) and perhaps an upgraded trigger spring.  This will boost your FPS and allow for proper cycling.  Keep in mind you will use more gas and therefore loose capacity or number of shots per mag.
  • Use the metal guide rod with the stock KWA spring.  I have done exactly this and like it.  I prefer the metal guide rod to a plastic one.

Thank you for the tips.
Anyone replace the barrel with a TBB? Any suggestions?

Not tried it yet.  I'm not personally a fan of TBB for pistols.

Doesn't mean there's never room for improvement.

I think people have used PDI TBB in the old M17s in the past with good results. I remember reading it somewhere a while ago.
There's also Madbull, but I can't recall anything said about them.
