The ATP has a metal Rocket of "flute valve" so I don't see #1 as an upgrade.  The barrels post I have not tried so I will leave that to someone else.  Before you make changes

1) Live with the gun and see if they are really needed, remember not all supposed upgrades really are
2) Wait through the 45 day warranty before making any changes

Hope this helps,

:gun:

Did you see how accurate the ATP is already in stock form?  It just blew me away.

I'll be installing a KM Head barrel for the ATP.  Will let you know how it performs.

I just picked up a Guarder recoil spring and guide rod for TM M17 series (everyone was out of stock on Guarder one made for KSC/KWA).  I will let you know how it fits and performs.

The Guarder recoil spring/guide made for TM G 17 fits perfect and gives a nice crisp recoil. Just went through 3 mags and it feels freakishly good.

Unfortunately, it comes with a hammer spring which I don't need but ended up paying for because it comes as a pack. :(

Hey niko_gpsy, I really love this pistol so far except for the recoil.  The thing is super accurate and has some really great range but it's recoil (for me) leaves something to be desired.  Does the guarder recoil spring guide make it feel a little more manly?  It's got a metal upper but it still surprises me how light the recoil feels.

KWA did a great job with the grip by the by.  I can't quit picking it up and fondling the thing

I know what you mean about not being able to put the ATP down.  LOL

I was actually looking for a Guarder recoil spring/guide made for KWA/KSC M17 but everywhere was sold out.  So I opted for the one made for TM G 17.  Now this is maybe 2mm longer than stock but fits great and the recoil is harder than stock.  I have put through about 10 mags after the change and I have not had even one problem with either shooting or slide not locking back after the last bb.

It sure made me feel "MANLY" when I was firing it. :P

Sorry if this is unnecessary but the "guarder" KSC Glock 17 recoil spring is in stock on Evike.com. As well as the TM Guarder recoil spring.

I say "Guarder" for the KSC because evike likes to categorize many items under brands that they are not.

"Guarder" KSC Glock 17 Recoil Spring:

Yes I saw that on evike. But didn't want to order online from them for 1 item. Lol
But all worked out great so no complaints.

It just struck me how much this looks like a S&W M&P pistol. A little bit of machine-work and... hm.

The ATP has the new NS2 system, Aluminum jet nozzle(part#6) and nozzle spring(part# 71). The rest of the internal parts in the slide and frame are from the M series pistol so the ATP and the M series pistol parts are compatible with each other.

When will KWA release the ATP Auto version. Looks like it has the KWA M23F metal outer barrel and the cut out slide of the M23F.
