That doesn't do me any good when it wont break down the slide! Mine locked up, and with the videos help I got it un jammed. The slide appears to be hanging up and not seating all the way forward.

You may want to send the gun in to our Service Center if you're having a separate issue from this Service Advisory. Hit up our Help Desk at the link above to set up a warranty repair ticket?

no, its pushed forward allmost all of the way. id say its about a millimeter off of being locked forward, but it doesnt go all the way. and when i pull the side tabs to take off the slide, i pull back but when i push forward it just stops.

Anything new about the jammed slide problem? its not the rubber plate its the fact that you cannot take off the slide fix the problem

If it's not the rubber buffer, then it is more than likely the spring guide has moved out of position.  This happened to me.  You can try to reset the spring guide by pulling the rod forward while the slide is pulled back.  Once you get it in the correct position you should be able to remove the slide.

Occasionally the hammer can get out of sync with the slide. In this case the slide cannot move forward for disassembly, and cannot be racked back to cock the hammer. Often the only outward symptom is the slide sitting back slightly.

To test try racking the slide with the mag out, and listen for the click. Then release and pull the trigger, if no click, and you cannot take the slide off then it is likely the hammer is out of sync with the slide.

The only solution I have found is to use a very thin pick to push the hammer back while the slide is racked and held back by the slide stop. Hope this helps.
