IDK but might not be too far from reality.  I can already get almost 50 shots on my ATP mag so I would have to guess that if a bigger gas chamber is used, it may be possible?
Yeah but that's just a second mag worth of bbs. 120 rounds sent from an originally 30 round magazine? No pistol or gbbr can be filled and shoot through 4 mags worth of bbs on one gas charge.

the ak mag is a curve, the bb part is shortest, the gas is largest, have a enlarged gas resivior and there you go!

Keep in mind its also a bigger/heavier bolt too, so comparing it to a pistol slide is like comparing apples and oranges. Sure its (probably) gunna have a nice big gas resevoir in the mag, but its also going to require more gas too. It might be possible to fire off 80 or however many rounds, but id rather have it perform better in cold and be more consistant than have a higher capacity mag, seeing as how the more bb's you add, the less room you have for gas. Gotta find that sweet spot!

I think WE had the right idea with the m14 magazine, have the ability for 20RND for realism, but with the removable stopper for practicality if one so chooses. I think that would be great for these AK type mags.

I see a lot of pentential for this replica... :dribble:

I agree with azzauzi completely. If KWA has the AKG mag hold 30 rounds, I am a happy camper. If they hold 45, I'm even happier. The max for me would be 50 or 60. That's where you are pushing realism just a little bit.

Idk. The polymer mags dont necessarily mean they hold 45 rounds. It's just a magazine that's made out of a different material. Even metal mags hold 45 rounds.

A magazine can't hold enough gas to fire off 120 rounds efficiently and perfectly. SO let's just forget about it... hahahah

you dare doubt the power of KWA? blasphemer!!!! string him up!

I think AK mags are going to be big enough to have a bigger chamber if required to be able to shoot close to 120bb's. All speculative at this point so we will have to wait and see.

The KWA KMP9 can push out 3 magazines worth on one fill. I wouldn't be doubting the KWA AK so fast, either.

I've never seen this before. Plus, isn't the gas chamber just one pipe that runs from the fill valve to the exit rubber thing at the top of the magazine next to the feed lips? If the AK mags are hallow, then I'm sure they can make a much bigger gas chamber. And I'm sorry if I'm a doubter. One or two of my M9 mags can't even hold enough green gas for a mag... =(

i have learned, when filling any internal gas tank replica. let it sit for 15-20 minutes for the internal temp to balance with the room temp. try it and notice the difference. outlaw, don't ever doubt KWA again.

The pistols are a different story. The KMP9 gas reservoir stores more gas, as the KMP9 mag is much larger.

Ok I will take your recommendation under consideration DRK. The only thing is I will be impatient when I've got loaded mags with a pistol that corresponds to it and targets down range. I will try though.

I also agree.  You get the best of both worlds.

Meh, I don't think a stopper is needed as long as you aren't reloading mags in game.

No, no the stopper limits the number of bbs that are able to be in the magazine, not the magazine follower lock, fattus Peur
