Got mine today. Here it is next to the KSC pistol. Having proper trademarks is so pretty!

Is that a cap over the threads on the MK23?

Everyone wins. It screws off with minimal chipping of the orange painted surface.

It came with some gas in the mag. So I dry fired a shot when I first pulled it out of the box. I haven't loaded it up yet and tested it. I have to wait till tomorrow when my friend comes over to shoot me with it.

We have a rule, if you order a new gun, you have to be shot in the back with it before you can shoot it yourself.

Other than that, it looks real nice. It's not as heavy as I thought it'd be. My KSC Glock is about the same weight with that G&P laser on the front of it. The recoil spring sends the slide forward slower than the KSC, but that's probably due to the weight of the slide and I have an upgraded recoil spring on the KSC.

I can't wait for upgrade parts for this thing as well as a LAM unit. I love accessorizing my airsoft gear.

No, it came with a metal slide. I ordered it from ehobby asia a while ago. They were going for $90 at the time on the site. I bought several of them.

Okay, I couldn't wait for my friend to show up tomorrow and test fired it today. My earlier complaint about the recoil spring moving the whole slide forward slowly is ONLY when you are not firing the pistol and it's just from the slide lock. The movement when actually firing the pistol is crisp and fast. No complaints there. It's a sweeeet pistol. Sucks for everyone who is on the wait list who missed the first batch. Mid August is going to be a mad house for retail and online stores with all the orders of jealous friends of owners of the MK23.

i think I'm gonna take up your rule about being shot in your back with your own guns, although i only have 3 guns as of right now, but I'm gonna have a payday on my dad, he's got... 1,2,3,4,5... 6 in total, 2 of which are gas blow back, and in jersey as of right now, where going through a 80-120 F heatwave, so... yeah.  :shiftyninja:

It's a good rule. You really pick out which guns you really want to buy and not just get anything. I mean, same applies if you are broke and can only afford one gun.

I also just ordered the HK Parts Rail Adapter. It should be here sometime next week. I'll take pictures with that on. I almost bought the HK Parts Fake [barrel extension] from their site as well. But I didn't want to spend that much on accessories all in one shot cause then it'll be more than the MK23 itself.
