i was wondering what internals the CQB has that are different from the Tactical? What makes it so the CQB shoots 350fps and the Tactical 400fps? if i called KWA could i get these parts sent to me?

I'm curious because i am having a hard time lowering my FPS. everytime i put an m100 spring in it still shoots 400fps. I need it to shoot about 350fps.

any help would be appreciated.

CQB variant has a shorter barrel, and the cylinder uses less air to push the bb to balance out the amount of air and barrel length ratio. Just like a real gun the shorter the barrel the slower your projectile will fly compared to a 14.5 or 20in barrel. On the advantage side it does make for a very short and compact gun with amazing ROF. Perfect for CQB.

I think it just has a different cylinder.  This question was asked before and you could probably search it.

Everyone is correct. You'll need a CQB cylinder. :)

We don't use conventional cylinders.  KWA cylinders are unique in the size and placement of the vent.

I have a question about the same topic. Assuming that the '09 models are gonna be the shiznit, and therefore require purchasing by myself... I would consider taking my current KM4S down to local CQB limits, which is 300 fps. If I drop an m90, or even m85, am I going to need to change anything else? Or will I need a CQB cylinder as well for this?

The CQB cylinder does 2 things, decrease FPS and increase ROF.  If your only looking to decrease the FPS then a M90 swap should bring it down to your field limit. :)
