If you have the money and you want the best Prometheus makes the best 6.03's no doubt. If you want something a little bit easier on your wallet JBU is not to shabby. Don't get Madbull or DB Custom, those barrels gave me headaches.

what headaches have you gotten with mad bull? I've used mad bull python II on all of my KWA armalites and haven't had any problems with them. Our entire team uses mad bull and with no issues either. JBU barrels are nice but seem to have a slightly larger outer diameter so it's picky with buckings. FYI, DBC are no longer producing barrels as they have gone under, according to Airsoft GI.

Systema and Madbull barrels arent great in terms of quality. Yes they work, but for a bit more go prommy and youll be much more satisfied. One thing that madbull and systema should leave to the pro's is TBB's.

Headaches as in quality and maximum performance. Looking down my old Madbull barrels there were alot of ripples or "rings" which meant it wasn't that smooth. And just because their barrels are brass covered is some sort of smooth coating I thought it was a cheap way out. Prommy's might be a bit more expensive, but there barrels are smooth and made out of stainless steel. Also Prommy's had around a 5fps higher consistency than the Madbulls. Hey its not much but its just the quality of Prommy's that are top notch and maxed out performance. Never will buy Madbull again. Quality really isn't that great over a stock Marui or KWA barrel.

sorry for the noob question

when you guys are talking about these barrels, are you talking 363mm or 407? I know that the stock barrel is 395mm so would a 407 stick out of the front?

No, it still is hidden by the flash hider.

I however, recommend Edgi barrels

They even make a barrel specifically for the KWA M4.  (395mm)  I've heard that it is smaller around the hop up unit too.  If it is not, you can tell them to make it a few mms smaller around there.  Heck, you can even choose what bore you want. (6.01, 6.02, etc)
