I recently just bought a used KWA 1911A1 and did a quick search about it here. I saw that someone else had asked if it was a NS2 version, when I asked the seller they had said they thought it was pre-NS2. In the thread I found, I believe it was Kingsize, said to post a picture of the internals.

Below is the picture of the gun and, what I'm guessing, is the original box.

My questions are this:

1. Does this look like a pre-NS2 or do I need to show the internals?

2. If I do need to show the internals, how do I remove the slide? (Have not used / owned a 1911 series in 2 years) Got it thanks to the help of Nex.

3. The seller had told me that the magazine catch was "finicky" and so I'm planning on replacing all of the parts to that if it'll solve the problem.

4. Do the 1911 MK series magazines fit with the 1911A1 series?

And that's about all I have for the moment.

This is what a NS2 1911 in that model should look like:

It does look like that, but I does not have anything on the slide (not sure if it was sanded down or not).

This is what the internals look like:

Hard to tell but looks like NS2.  Look at the end of the cylinder nozzle.  Is it black or silver?  Silver is pre-NS2.  Black is NS2.
