I've got a new KWA KMP9, and when I fill the mags all the way up with green gas, I can only get 1.5 - 1.75 mags through before I run out of gas.  This seems way low to me, is it?

Close to two mags on one fill seems OK to me.

So how are some of these reviews stating that they can get 3 mags on one fill?  Does the mag need to be broken in?

It can vary from 1 to 3 mags per fill. There are a lot of factors besides the gun or mag. It can depend on the pressure in the green gas can, temperature, and even your technique and whether full auto or semi.
