Hey Everyone,
I bought 2 M1911 Mark IIs at Airstoft GI yesterday (3/26/11)for a game i have the next day 3/27/11.Ones Desert tan and the other on is black. I  was in a game and my black M1911 was out of ammo. So i pulled out my Tan one. When i pulled the trigger it didnt fire. so while i was waiting for the next stage i tried to figure out what went wrong. I filled it with gas and BBs but it wont fire. I think it had something to do with the pin under the hammer.
here are some pictures

Sorry to say but without that firing pin, you CANNOT fire your pistol. Go to the help desk, KWA will help you out.

if you dry fire your gun like you're not supposed to (it's a dangerous and horrible practice in real life) the firing pin will dislodge itself.

That happened to me a couple times when i was taking apart my gun like i wasnt supposed to....
You said when it sticks out, you push it back in? lol well its not coming out the back my friend... its falling into the gun. the shape of that pin looks like a golf T. the pin youre looking at on your black Mark II is the pointy end. Get what im sayin? sometimes, as Spiggy said, if you dry fire it, and sometimes even when you are just regularly shooting, it will drop inside the gun. Its a technical flaw and you should just send it in and see if you can get it fixed.
