SRC upper barrel assembly fits great.  Haven't fired through it yet to verify air seal. So far length seems right.  Will update in a bit. Noticed in another thread the SRC didn't fit.  My packaging seemed generic with no SRC logos/writing. So I'm not sure if it truely is an SRC.

Update:
Gun fired flawlessly.  Rechronoed @395 w/ a beat up  used stock spring and 425 tight bore.  OEM 2/3yrs ago it chronoed @ 370 stock.
Here's where I got it : http://www.airsoftst...srcsg3607-.html

Will an src g36k handguard fit?

My SRC Gen II and Gen III handguards fit on the pre 2gx G36c as does the JG Gen IV and an old Classic Army handguard. The pre 2gx replica I have is one with the JUMBO handguard. The push pin that holds the guard on is not the greatest fit both with the others in the KWA and with the KWA jumbo on the others. The pin is un-instaliable when swapping the other handguards with the KWA.

KWA seems to be "kinda" TM compatible with this as with other items on this replica.

I tried an aftermarket grenade launcher/ handguard the other day and it fit okay.

(revised 3-4-2013 after mixing up the handguards and finding the push pin not to engage properly)

I tried the SHS G36 aftermarket hop up in my KWA pre-2gx G36C. It all fits in there upon visual inspection; but the airseal is not what it is with the KWA hop up. Not compatible with my G36 IMHO.

Peace

With the break-up of the relationship of Magpul and PTS my I am only aware of KWA OEM mags fitting and working.  That is unless you do a magwell conversion to M4 style mags.

This thread seems old. I want to know if there are any M4 magwell conversion kits that will fit the new KWA H&K Licensed G36C 2GX Version.  Not the old KG36, the new one that I specified.  I want to use M4 type mags on it but the techs from the store I buy my airsoft products from say that their M4 magwell conversion kit will not fit the new KWA H&K G36C.  I believe they use the SOCOM Gear X36 Magwell Conversion Kit.  I have found other kits such as the Private Parts Airsoft and BattleAxe but I have no proof that they will fit.  Does anyone know for sure of any M4 magwell conversion kits that will 100% fit the new G36C?  I am hell-bent on buying the new G36C with a mag adapter but I want to make sure I know which one fits before I randomly buy one just to try it out.

i can tell you from experience that the "Battle ax" magwell conversion kit will NOT work in the new g36! Its way too wide, i ended up milling mine down to get it to fit and it still would not feed right. Have not tried other brands but i feel like none will work for the new g36.

It should, but there is no guarantees that you will not loose compression.  Also, lightening the piston assembly by adding a polymer piston head in a KWA G36 can lead to pre-engagement if you use 11.1 Lipo.

What performance are you hoping to affect?

Internal parts that I have run for several rounds in the past or currently have installed:
SHS high torque motor
ZCI aluminum piston head
SHS 15 steel tooth piston
SHS m120 spring
G&P hop up bucking
Raptors airsoft flat hop nub
AST 75 degree maple leaf bucking
SHS/PPS 247mm 6.03 tight bore
ZCI 14 steel tooth piston
A stock cyma piston and stock cyma inner barrel (I was bored one day)
King Arms selector plate.

Superlube is an excellent grease for the compression parts and gears. White lithium also works well on the gears but I would not recommend using on compression parts due to small amounts of petroleum.
