first... Obviously there is a fireing mechanisim issue that causes the gun to only want to fire full auto. those ratchet arms are very thin and as things get loose behind the grip they start to slip and not make positive contact on the teeth. ( this is my take on whats happening ) make them wider and so there is more surface area to catch.
second.... ditch that thin plastic cylinder and and use metal, Aluminum preferably. Yes, the part will cost more, but having numerous failures at the exact same point on the cylinder should be the first indicator the design isnt cutting it and you need something stronger. an aluminum part may cost more, but when added up to warrenty replacements, shipping costs, labor, etc... I'm pretty sure it would pay for itself in short order.
lastly... upgraded parts. for those people that REALLY want a metal barrel and a threaded barrel and a compensator and even some wood (look) grips. just give it to 'em. you get sale in the aftermarket and they get bling and customized guns. everyone's happy.
thats my 2 cents for today.
carry on fellas
