I found this video on youtube. has anyone tried this or would recommend this? I dont want to break the gun.

Also, he gives bad advice.  The magazine follower lock should never be used as a blank fire device.  Subsequent damage from a slamming magazine follower (particularly in that design) can smash the double piston assembly and crack the bolt. This applies to a NS2 gun as it can smash the cylinder.

Also short stroking the piston isn't particularly good for a NS2 model, which requires the travel to disengage the impact block.

oh okay, thanks for the help. now that I think about it, I wouldn't really want to dump the mag much faster.  I tried it out on a couple mags then I took it out. 30 rps without 40 ish with it in. On semi the bolt moves so fast I couldnt see it. the mod did save alot of gas though. I would guess 2.5 mags in 35 degree weather!
