Have you retested the MAG midcaps yet?

I'm using MAG midcap 130 rnds for my KWA M4-A1 since 2010 and i didn't encounter any problem on it. I bought another 3 mags for the next big Ops that i'm going to attend.

Bravo Flash Mags fit very tightly in my KM4 RIS (2GX).  Ten to twelve minutes of fitting it in and out loosened it slightly though I doubt the magazine will ever fall freely out of the magwell when released.  Feeds absolutely flawlessly!

I'm not having a good experience with Green Label 75rnd PMAGS. It seems that YMMV, but so far I'm getting guaranteed double feeds and misfires every mag.

Those mags didn't work for me either.

My MOE grip doesn't fit. I just got it in today, and upon the last step of installation (Placing the heat sink in), it didn't fit. The best way to put it is, the way the normal heat sink "grabs" on to the small rectangle on top of the motor, doesn't happen with the MOE. The circular part coming off the rectangle is too large, and hits the threading that the motor height adjustment screw is in. Has anybody else had this issue, and if so, how did you fix it?

Base plate needs to be modified unless you bought a reinforced metal one along with your grip.

I have 10 of these, all work perfectly in my KM4-RIS.

I have done the mod, several times, and I have used the reinforced metal base plate and I really think that the reinforced base plate is far superior.  Find one and use it...you'll be glad you did.

I just got a [barrel extension] and I am sure that it fits my KM4 RIS.  However, I have not been able to get the flash hider off.  It will not budge.  I tried heating it and using a wrench.  What do you recommend?

What are you heating the flash hider with? You will need to heat it using a heat gun for about 5-10 minutes to break down the thread locking compound.  And I usually use an end on my armorers wrench so I can really torque it.

Will a Prometheus 509mm 6.03mm and a Systema bucking fit in the stock KWA hop up unit?

Today I receiver my

Real Sword 130rd MidCap Magazine

for testing purpose.
What do I say, the finish is extremely nice - due to the lacquer free shell.
I tested it in my 2011 KWA KM4 RIS and fit is currently pretty tight.
Trying to move the mag in the magwell with my hand I noticed:
Zero side-to-side wobble
Just a little bit of rear-to-front wobble when trying
It does not wobble from wielding the gun or so.

Feeding: Up to now I only shot about 150rds
I filled up the mag 50-60% of advertised capacity, inserted, fired. No misfeeds.
I filled it up again and again, no misfeeds happening.
I will report back as soon as I can tell more about feeding from higher loads, maybe it even feeds 100%.

3 or 4 BBs will not be loaded and will fall out upon reloading, as usual.

Update:
I worked the finish a little bit, sanded the magwell a little and now it falls out easy.
Loading wise I can currently only load it to 90 rounds. 100 is maximum but it makes misfeeds.
I guess the spring has to settle in a little.

Hey Sneakix

Welcome to the KWA forums.
You will unfortunately find that most if not all 3rd party receivers are incompatible with the KWA gearbox design. KWA gearboxes are heavily reinforced that will not allow a drop-in type receiver change. There are those that have successfully incorporated the 2GX GB into a Madbull receiver but it required major modifications which could result in GB premature failure.

I have 8 of them and they have all worked great in my experiences.
Buy the box of 10 and you can save a few dollars there.

I bought a couple of the star/green label 75rd pmags off evike and they fit and feed perfectly, better than my authentic magpul 120rd pmags. They slide right in and fall out when you hit the mag release. They feed every round as well.
