Anybody here uses a drum/box mag for their KWA m4/m16? If so any feeding problems? And what brand is most compatible? Tnx

I have one of the old school A & K drum mags (manual winding) and it works. I'm pretty sure the newer A & K drum mags with the fancy auto winders will work as well.

My buddy has one of those, too. I used it for a round. It works alright, but is a little too good, because it kinda takes the fun out of reloading.

LOL... I got the original Laylax box mag and the motorize A&K one as well.  Never use it... just sitting on my shelf.  Maybe I should just sell it.

Good luck. I offered to give mine away for free and still no takers.

my 4 buddies use a&k auto wind box mag, on/off misfeeds but not too often.  myself and another, about 15,000-25,000 rounds with battle axe so far NO problems  :D  IMO battle axe is better since it's only 1,000 rounds (not too heavy :P ), it's not awkward (not bulky like drum/cmag :( ) and auto winder button is well placed & more discreet  :)

How does the battle axe feeds? and does it fit snugly on the magwell? is it tight fit?

IMHO mid-caps are the only magazine to use. Autowinder highcap. magazines dont work that well. A guy I play with uses one on his MP5, and it missfeeds and hes only getting 15-16Bps. Sad :(

it feeds great- crazy enough, you could literally empty mag if you wanted to (while holding down button).  it fits snugly just like orginal mag no issues with that.
