Here are some Colorado Airsofters playing in the snow with our KWA AEG's  so far the cold has had no negative impact on our weapons....

Thought the KWA guys might like to start a (cold) photo collection!

Attached File  shadowpack-snow KWA.jpg   54.49K   337 downloads

Enjoy.

I played in the poconoes yesterday in 10 degree weather while it was snowing for 6 hours straight with my SR7.  I worked great.  It locked up on me once but a quick flick of the selector got it back to normal.  I ran it on a 11.1 20C 1200mah battery.

I played yesterday with my first gen KM4A1 and my gearbox and hopup upper shattered. But I guess it was about time for something to go, I've put several hundred thousand bbs through the gun. Which now I have a good excuse to get a 2GX gearbox and hopup. lol

I think this is why I dig airsoft. Everyone's a gearwhore, just like I am with guitars.

Thanks Guys,
yes  KWA is VERY quickly becoming the AEG of choice in colorado.
On our squad we have six Sr12's,  two Sr10's,  and one G36C.
Our teams weapons are on the "dark side"  as other call them.

"Multicam Monsters with Darkside Weapons"  I believe is the term...

Sooner or later...................you will end up with a KWA..... :)

IMHO  cost is the factor which least effects my choice.
If the SR-12 cost $600.00 I would gladly pay for it.
A $265  broken AEG  is  not  worth it.
The money you save= time at home with a broken gun.

There is a reason NASCAR doesn't race Pinto's.

There are places I go to play where my KWA M9 takes a backseat to my TSD non blowback M9.
I grow tired of spending an hour and half a can of contact cleaner and 20 q-tips cleaning my KWA M9 to get it to fire because it is so dirty.

The right tool for the job..................MOST of the time is KWA.

Oh Yeah,
When the Snow is that deep you can take cover.....under it!  it is  a  whole new world when your OPFOR can pop up from anywhere out on the field.........

Check....................selector switch.................move in........scan  and  breathe.................  :)

We here in ANCHORAGE, ALASKA also like to play in the snow. However due to a lack of photos and my iPhone tweaking on me I can't seem to get the one pic I could find of my kwa m4a16 (yes I said m4a16)  in the snow uploaded. Will try later today. I do know however there is some video of me taken by our one and only Airsoft dealer, I just have to get him motivated to upload it. Might take a few but I will do my best. Great pics everyone who posted. It's always cool to shoot the snow out of your barrel. I'm the guy in bdu
