hey, i just received my kwa m4a1. i bought it used and i now have a question.  does the forward assist knob do anything? am i missing something.  when i push the knob in, it doesn't feel like its actually doing anything. as i let go of the knob, it does come back with a lil spring pressure.  when i open the gun, and look where the knob is,  all i see is the knob and it doesn't seem like it comes out far enough to touch the spring. am i missing something that connnects to the knob???

hope someone can help.  thanks

I have the KM16 and the forward assist knob is completely cosmetic. Probably the same with the M4.

It's purely cosmetic just like 95% of the M4/M16 airsoft gun out in the market.

k, thanks for the reply, i was just curious since i bought this gun off of someone that was just banned from the forum cause of selling broken guns. this gun seems to be ok though, it shoots three pellets at a time quit abit but i'm guessing thats because i'm using a lipo battery.

No... that just mean your gun have feeding issue or your lipo have too much discharge.  On the bright side you just got yourself a Three Round burst gun.

Then its a selector plate issue, just wait and let your gun wear in a bit, mine did that for the first couple hundred rounds.

$35 for the labor + parts + shipping.  It's very competitive compare to retail store service.  But you get the KWA guarantee with the latest parts available.  Some retail store will start mix and match with aftermarket parts and will probably sell you the idea their aftermarket parts are better.   I want people to start thinking KWA Service Center like an Toyota or Honda services center.

I was going to use Audi and BMW but we don't have loaner guns.

This service is design for people who's gun is out of warranty.  If you decided to send it in then give us a call and ask for RMA #.

Do you know if we could do this when the 2009 version of the KM-4 comes out, to put all the new KM-4 2009 parts in our old guns?

hey guys,  i have another question.   is there a way to some how tighten the selector.   it does click in place "safe, semi, auto"  but,  i find it moves pretty easy.  I'll be shooting in semi, and if i lightly hit the selector,  it'll start shooting in full auto.
