do you have to cock back the slide when loading a mag

thanks and i was also looking into m9 ptp magz for my m93r but i herd the base plate of the magz brakes alot is there any fix to this or a different mag that doesn't stick out of the gun

the new generation M9 PTP magazine uses an anchored base plate.  they are less prone to damage however it's still encouraged that you catch your magazines and not let them hit the floor.
