My 509mm Prometheus TB came in yesterday and at that time I ordered the systema area 1000 type 0 cylinder then I just received email from ASGI that it is out of stock and they suggested the JBU type 0 cylinder. Is this cylinder fine? Let me know. Tnx

Same thing happened to me. Ordered some parts and a 509 barrel and was informed later that the Sys type 0 was out of stock. They were nice enough to call and let me know, which kept my weekend upgrade plans alive. I sub'ed in the JBU type 0; hope to install tonight or tomorrow night.

Got the JBU type 0 cylinder installed; seems to be working fine.

For fitting into the mechbox, it seemed a little tougher to get seated into the cutout/grove, as if a few points of a millimeter longer than the Systema type 1 that it replaced. However, once in place and with the gun closed up, compression seems fine. With the long barrel and zero cylinder, and even with a M140 spring, my gun is as quiet and as smooth as any other configuration.
